Foam proudly presents 'Foam Talent 2022', a group exhibition highlighting the work of twenty participating photographers who address current global challenges. These artists explore and extend the boundaries of photography today, each presenting their unique visual language to critically examine the world around us. They delve into collective affairs and ongoing issues, considering their personal, local, historical, symbolic, emotional, and bodily impacts.
The exhibition features a wide range of photographic genres, including portraiture, documentary photography, digital imagery, and archival material, creating a space for viewers to reflect and engage with diverse situations and current events. Complementing the physical experience, this digital exhibition offers deeper insights into the artists and their works, exploring their inspirations and techniques through artistic and educational perspectives. Visitors are encouraged to read, see, and hear more about the exhibition's themes and topics, engaging with the works through interactive elements. The selected artists for Foam Talent 2022 include Marwan Bassiouni, Myriam Boulos, Olgaç Bozalp, Laura Chen, Kata Geibl, Lina Geoushy, Marvel Harris, Alexandra Rose Howland, Ange-Frédéric Koffi, Czar Kristoff, Yushi Li, Carla Liesching, Seif Kousmate, Pavo Marinović, Diego Moreno, Donja Nasseri, Ghazaleh Rezaei, Linn Phyllis Seeger, Ritsch Sisters, and Donavon Smallwood.
