Crónicas visuales: Visual Storytelling Workshop at Espacio Fundación Telefónica for Families and Children

This is a family workshop designed for adults and children to explore visual storytelling. Participants will embark on a themed exploration, inspired by historical scientists and explorers, to capture scenes and details around them. They will then create a digital album of their images, sounds, and reflections, contributing to a collective visual map.

The 'Crónicas visuales: relatos de un presente por descubrir' workshop invites families with children aged 6 to 12 to engage in visual storytelling. Inspired by the exhibition 'El sueño de la razón. Del Siglo de las Luces a la inteligencia artificial', participants will be tasked with exploring their environment with a curious and thematic gaze, akin to 18th and 19th-century scientists and explorers. They will capture images, sounds, and observations that tell a story about their world. Back in the workshop, families will collaboratively create an illustrated digital album incorporating their findings and reflections. This collective work will form a shared visual map of the present, comprised of unique moments and perspectives from each participating family. The workshop is scheduled for Sunday mornings in October and November 2025, with additional dates in 2026.

Free registration requires prior booking via the Espacio Fundación Telefónica website. Registrations for workshops open 14 days before the session date. Participants will receive a confirmation email in the days preceding the workshop date to secure or cancel assigned spots. The venue provides practical information via a dedicated post on their website.
