Jointly presented by Fundación Telefónica and the Museo Reina Sofía, 'Cubismo(s) y experiencias de la modernidad' offers a comprehensive look at the Cubist movement's multifaceted creative landscape. The exhibition draws from the extensive Cubist collections of both institutions, highlighting over 70 works created between 1912 and 1933. It aims to provide a broader understanding of Cubism, moving beyond its core years to include later developments and regional interpretations. The exhibition delves into the foundational years of Cubism with works by pioneers like Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, and traces its evolution through artists such as Juan Gris, María Blanchard, and others who contributed to its development and diversification. It also explores how Cubism influenced Latin American artists like Xul Solar, Diego Rivera, and Joaquín Torres-García, demonstrating its international reach and adaptability. The curation, guided by Eugenio Carmona, emphasizes a pluralistic conception of the Cubist experience, re-evaluating its significance and complexity.

The exhibition is presented at the Museo Reina Sofía and information regarding venue access and related events can be found on the museum's website.
