This exhibition explored Ferran Adrià's creative process over 25 years at elBulli, aiming to inspire creativity in visitors. It showcased his journey, the innovation behind elBulli's success, and the systematic approach to creativity.
‘Ferran Adrià. Auditando el proceso creativo’ was the first major exhibition dedicated to the Catalan chef in Madrid, and the largest to date focusing on creative processes. Organized in collaboration with Fundación Telefónica, the exhibition offered an in-depth look at the creative methodologies that defined elBulli, a restaurant that redefined gastronomy. Beyond cuisine, it examined the continuous innovation and constant renewal that characterized Adrià's work. The exhibition spanned nearly 1,000 square meters, featuring original drawings by Adrià, emblematic objects and tools from elBulli, and recreations of the dining room and kitchen. It also included immersive audiovisual projections and artistic installations, some paying homage to Richard Hamilton.
The exhibition was the result of over a year's work by a multidisciplinary team, coordinated by Adrià himself and Fundación Telefónica. It was a deep dive into Adrià's creative universe, conceptualized to encourage visitors to reflect on and define their own creative profiles. The exhibition also highlighted the legacy of elBulli through the Bullifoundation, which continues to research and systematize creativity as a transferable model for other disciplines and businesses. The project involved data visualization specialists Bestiario, exhibition designer Olga Subirós, advertisers Toni Segarra and Jorge Martínez, and web developer Mario Tascón.
