Curatorial context

Espacio Fundación Telefónica presents 'Sin Título. La Colección Telefónica como nunca se ha visto' (Untitled. The Telefónica Collection as you've never seen it), a unique educational project in Spain. This exhibition was conceived to spark interest in art among children by offering a novel approach to the Telefónica Art Collection. One hundred children, aged 10 to 12, actively participated in the curatorial process and the development of the exhibition. They contributed by reinterpreting artwork titles, designing exhibition spaces, and creating artistic murals. The exhibition brings together nearly 70 original pieces spanning painting, photography, works on paper, and sculpture from national and international artists, some of which have not been exhibited for up to 20 years. These original works are displayed alongside the children's creative visions, offering a fresh perspective on the collection. The exhibition is organized around four thematic axes chosen by the children: faces, form and color, mystery, and materials, aiming to foster an active approach to art and an immersive learning experience through experimentation, aligning with STEAM pedagogy. The exhibition also features playful and didactic resources for visitors to engage with the artworks. Accompanying the exhibition is the 'Second Canvas Colección Telefónica' app, allowing users to explore the collection's artworks in high resolution and discover the stories behind them. A special catalog, 'Descubre el arte con la Colección Telefónica' (Discover Art with the Telefónica Collection), is also available, designed for children aged 8 to 12, with explanations and exercises created by illustrator Puño. Various educational activities and downloadable resources are offered for different audiences, including school groups and educators, further enhancing the immersive and collaborative learning experience.

Admission and ticket notes

The exhibition is open to all audiences. Visitors can explore the space during its operating hours. Further information regarding specific activities and educational resources can be found under the 'Talleres' (Workshops) tab.
