Two Class 14 Diesels Headline the Mayday Weekend at Didcot Railway Centre
Visitors heading to Didcot Railway Centre over the upcoming May Bank Holiday weekend will have a rare opportunity to experience dual Class 14 operations. For the heritage diesel event running from the 4th to the 6th of May, the living museum is welcoming guest locomotive D9551, which is visiting from the Severn Valley Railway.
The visiting engine will operate alongside the centre's resident Class 14 diesel, D9516. This pairing gives enthusiasts and families a unique chance to see both locomotives running side by side during the three-day holiday event.
