The "Experience the Forest of Sources – Stories of Forests" exhibition, hosted at the Ohrada hunting lodge by the National Museum of Agriculture, offers an engaging and untraditional exploration of forestry. Presented by Forests of the Czech Republic, the exhibition uses guides, exhibits, and artistic installations to narrate the story of forestry, emphasizing the critical role of water for both forests and foresters. Visitors can journey through the past and present, gaining insight into the landscape and the essential phenomenon of water, with specific looks into the Poněšice and Stará obora preserves. This installation, created by the "MamaPapa" association, builds upon previous successful exhibitions and is tailored for its South Bohemian location. It features interactive elements, virtual effects, and mechanical devices, allowing visitors to actively participate in uncovering intricate human stories and the laws of nature. The exhibition highlights the work of creators such as scenographer Tomáš Žižka, musician Vladimír Václavek, artists Wade Kavanaugh and Stephen B. A puppet show featuring figures of gamekeeper Václav Špatný and Václav Cílek is also part of the experience.
