The exhibition 'Most Beautiful Polish Books 2025' presents a curated selection of publications that have been awarded and recognized in the 66th annual competition organized by the Polish Society of Book Publishers (PTWK), an event held since 1957. The exhibition emphasizes the significance of editorial and graphic design as integral components of a book, focusing on the relationship between concept, text, image, material, and execution. It features a diverse range of books, including literary, scientific, artistic, children's, and popular science publications, showcasing various formal strategies from minimalist restraint to bold experimentation. The jury reviewed 304 books submitted by 152 publishing houses, awarding seven main prizes, an honorary award, and 54 distinctions. This extensive display underscores the vitality of Polish book culture and the competition's role in identifying outstanding achievements in editing, design, and printing. The exhibition also serves as a reminder that the book remains a sophisticated and capacious medium in contemporary culture, a space for collaboration among designers, editors, publishers, and printers, where technical precision meets imagination. Beautifully designed books create their own order of attention, restoring meaning to proportion, rhythm, and the tactile experience of content, allowing culture to be experienced through form that gives shape to thought.
