The exhibition "Maraton w grafice" (Marathon in Graphics) features fifty-five drawings by Weronika Żurowska, an alumna of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the Ecole Superieure des Arts Plastiques Saint Luc in Brussels. The collection offers a narrative of the mass sporting event, portraying runners, cheering spectators, and fragments of the city, alongside the internal struggles of the participants. Żurowska's works are notable for their diverse drawing techniques. The exhibition also includes reflections from marathon runners themselves. Originally opening on September 8, 2017, with a vernissage attended by museum officials and media, the exhibition concluded with a finissage on September 23, 2017, just before the XXXIX Warsaw Marathon. The artist also presented sports-themed artworks to participants who had completed all previous editions of the marathon. The works explore themes of collective sporting events, individual challenges, and the urban environment, executed with a variety of artistic media.

Weronika Żurowska, born in 1988 in Warsaw, is the artist behind this exhibition. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (Faculty of Graphics) and the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Plastiques Saint Luc in Brussels (Faculty of Comics). She currently works in graphic design and illustration.
