Opening on June 20, 2023, just before the inauguration of the 3rd European Games Krakow-Małopolska 2023, the temporary exhibition 'Wyjątkowe Igrzyska' (Exceptional Games) was dedicated to the arenas and symbols of this significant sporting event. The exhibition highlighted the scale and prestige of the Games, particularly in the context of Poland, and also delved into the history of Polish athletes' participation in the previous two editions held in Baku (2015) and Minsk (2019). Unique objects related to the Krakow-Małopolska 2023 Games were featured, including a torch, mascots ('Krakusek' the dragon and 'Sandra' the salamander), commemorative medals, and an emblem. These items were largely provided by the organizers. The Polish Olympic Committee also contributed the official Polish national team tracksuit, and the Polish Post issued a special postage stamp for the occasion. The exhibition also included memorabilia from earlier editions of the European Games.
