The 'Fotowspomnienia' (Photo Memories) program invites visitors to explore the history of the Royal Łazienki Park through its Social Archive. These meetings, held on specific dates in the summer of 2023, provide an opportunity to engage with selected historical threads of the park. Participants are encouraged to bring their own photographs of the Łazienki Park taken before 1995. These images will be scanned to be included in the Social Archive, with original prints returned to their owners. The project, active since 2020, has already amassed over 300 photos from donors across Poland and beyond, creating a rich tapestry of shared memories and historical perspectives of this significant cultural site. The series featured three distinct thematic meetings: 'Łazienkowskie place zabaw' (Łazienki Playgrounds) on June 25th, recalling childhood visits and iconic park features; 'Zwierzęta łazienkowskich ogrodów' (Animals of the Łazienki Gardens) on July 16th, focusing on the diverse fauna captured in historical photos; and 'Chopin w Łazienkach: pomnik i koncerty' (Chopin in Łazienki: Monument and Concerts) on August 6th, highlighting the iconic Chopin monument and its connection to the summer concerts. These events served as opportunities to discover, share, and collectively build the park's photographic memory.
