The "Królewski zwierzyniec" (Royal Menagerie) is a series of craft workshops designed for adults and young people aged 14 and above. These workshops are an integral part of the new educational zone "Królewski zwierzyniec" located in the New Palm House (Nowa Palmiarnia) at the Royal Łazienki Museum. The overarching theme is inspired by the diverse fauna inhabiting the park's gardens, blending nature with art. Participants will engage in hands-on creative activities to produce unique items. The series includes distinct workshops: "Filcowany zwierzyniec" (Felt Menagerie) on August 3-4, focusing on dry felting techniques to create bird figures and keychains, led by Lena Lewandowska and Jakub Serwinowski. "Haftowany zwierzyniec" (Embroidered Menagerie) on August 24-25, teaches "painting with a needle" or shaded embroidery, inspired by park wildlife, with guidance from Maria Łuczaj Art. and Paulina Organiściak-Kwiatkowska. Finally, "Ceramiczny zwierzyniec" (Ceramic Menagerie) on September 7-8, will take place in the White House and the New Palm House, where participants will learn to decorate ceramic mugs with bird and floral motifs using stamping and brush techniques, led by Daria Kruk Art. and Paulina Organiściak-Kwiatkowska.
