Curatorial context

The 'Kuszenie dotyku' (Temptation of Touch) workshop is a hands-on artistic event designed for youth (16+) and adults, held on November 24, 2023, at the Stara Oranżeria. Participants are encouraged to engage with art primarily through their sense of touch, moving away from purely visual appreciation. During the session, attendees will work with clay, creating pieces that are inspired by Rostkowska's artistic oeuvre. This workshop is presented in conjunction with the exhibition 'Obietnica szczęścia. Maria Papa Rostkowska' also held in the Stara Oranżeria. Karina Madej, a philosopher and educator with a background in visual arts, leads the workshop. Madej specializes in creative workshops, including media-focused sessions for various age groups.
