This workshop invited adults and youth (16+) to create original collage works inspired by the colors and textures in Max Liebermann's art. Participants used materials like colored papers, magazines, and archival prints to craft their A3 collages.
The 'Papierowe impresje' (Paper Impressions) workshop offered participants an opportunity to engage in collage creation, drawing inspiration from the masterful use of color and texture found in the works of Max Liebermann, a prominent German Impressionist. The event, targeted at adults and youth aged 16 and above, took place on December 18, 2022, in the Ecological Education Center located in the New Orangery at the Royal Łazienki Museum.
Attendees were guided to produce their own A3 collages using a variety of materials, including colored papers, illustrated magazines, and archival prints featuring motifs drawn from nature and the art of the Łazienki Park. The workshop was led by Aneta Klejnowska-Karpińska, an artist with a diverse background in graphic design, interior architecture, and scientific illustration, known for her work with collage. The intimate setting of the Ecological Education Center, with its glass walls overlooking a winter garden, provided an inspiring atmosphere for the creative process.
