A nature walk for adults and youth (14+) exploring the historic gardens of Łazienki Park, focusing on the diverse bird life and their adaptations. The walk begins at the 'Sfera con sfera' sculpture and delves into the park's natural environment, discussing survival strategies and the role of animals in shaping the gardens.
This event, titled 'Ptaki świata' (Birds of the World), is a nature walk designed for adults and youth aged 14 and above, taking place on June 10, 2025, from 17:00 to 18:00. The walk will commence at the "Sfera con sfera" sculpture by Arnaldo Pomodoro, near the New Orangery, and proceed through the Łazienki Park gardens. Participants will examine how animals, including birds from various parts of the world, contribute to the shaping of these historic gardens alongside human design.
The guide, Mateusz Niedziółka, will lead discussions on the birds' adaptation strategies and their ability to inhabit the Łazienki Royal Park. The event offers a unique perspective on the park's ecosystem, highlighting the complex natural systems that exist within this cultural landscape. All participants will receive a special publication, 'Włoskie spacery po Warszawie' (Italian Walks through Warsaw), a book-guide rich in cultural and historical essays connecting Warsaw with Italy, covering various landmarks including Łazienki Park.
