Rodzina w formie: Creative Virtual Family Workshop on Plaster Casting at Royal Łazienki Museum

This is a family workshop for children aged 7-12 and their guardians, held virtually on December 12, 2020. Participants will create plaster casts inspired by decorations found in the Royal Łazienki Museum's Palace on the Isle and the Old Orangery, with a focus on Christmas motifs. The workshop is adapted for children with sensory and intellectual disabilities.

The 'Rodzina w formie' (Family in Form) workshop provided a creative experience for children aged 7-12 and their guardians. Held virtually on December 12, 2020, the sessions explored decorative ornaments and their symbolism, particularly in relation to Christmas. Participants learned about materials like plaster and marble and engaged in hands-on activities, creating their own plaster casts of motifs such as bells, pinecones, stars, rosettes, wreaths, and angels, similar to the work of a modeler. The workshop was designed to be accessible and adapted for children with sensory and intellectual disabilities, drawing inspiration from the artistic elements within the Royal Łazienki Museum's Palace on the Isle and the Old Orangery.

Tickets cost 1 PLN per child and guardian and were available for purchase online from November 19 to December 7, 2020, with an additional transaction fee. A 'Little Modeler' kit was included, with shipping costs covered by the organizer. Please note that the workshop was fully booked.
