This workshop, part of the 'Practical School of Łazienki Ecology' series, focuses on teaching the quiet and nature-friendly method of traditional scything. Participants will gain theoretical and practical knowledge applicable to gardening and allotment work. Scything offers numerous benefits, including noise reduction, positive effects on mown plants, and serves as a form of relaxation and exercise that engages various muscle groups while enjoying the outdoors. The sessions are designed for both novices and seasoned scythe users looking to spend time actively in the beautiful gardens of the Royal Łazienki Museum. Workshops are conducted in small groups of 6, adhering to social distancing and safety protocols, with participants covered by accident insurance (NNW). Attendees are advised to wear appropriate attire, including long trousers and closed shoes, and to use tick and mosquito repellent. The event is organized in cooperation with Łąki Kwietne.
Tickets cost 40 PLN and can be purchased at the ticket office in Podchorążówka. Registration is required via email to [email protected], as space is limited. This event is for adults only.
