This series of ceramic workshops, titled "Z gliny i wyobraźni" (From Clay and Imagination), offers a creative opportunity for children aged 7-12 and their guardians to engage with art and nature. Held in the formiernia (moulding room) of the Stara Oranżeria, the sessions are inspired by the animalistic sculptures and drawings of Domicella Bożekowska, who skillfully merged her imagination with keen observation of animals. Participants will begin by creating quick sketches of selected animals, translating their observations and imaginative interpretations into ceramic forms. The focus is not on exact replication of nature, but on capturing the essential energy and posture of animals, translating their characteristic features into both sketches and clay. The workshops encourage creative play, careful observation, and the discovery of individual perspectives. Participants are invited to bring photos of their pets or other favorite animals for inspiration. These sessions are part of the program accompanying the temporary exhibition "Miasto zwierząt. Domicella Bożekowska" (City of Animals. Domicella Bożekowska).
