Fotoplastikon Warszawski is hosting 'WARSztatownia', a summer workshop series for children aged 5-10 from July 1st to August 28th, 2026. The program invites young participants to explore Warsaw's history, legends, and architecture through diverse creative activities such as drawing, painting, building, photography, and storytelling, with each session focusing on a different city district.
Throughout the summer, from July 1st to August 28th, 2026, the Fotoplastikon Warszawski transforms into a hub of imagination, color, and urban narratives with its 'WARSztatownia' summer workshop series. Designed for children aged 5-10, these creative workshops aim to help participants discover Warsaw through all their senses, engaging in activities like drawing, painting, building, photography, sculpting, sewing, block building, and learning the city's unique legends. Each session serves as a journey into a different district of Warsaw, offering varied perspectives, from the heights of the Palace of Culture to the Praga Zoo, or creating murals inspired by Mokotów.
The workshops are scheduled for Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Wednesdays focus on storytelling and artistic activities, including sewing, sculpting, and creating future visions of Warsaw. Thursdays offer architectural explorations and photographic techniques, with sessions dedicated to iconic buildings, city zoos, stadiums, and street art, as well as experimenting with cyanotype and photo collages. Fridays are dedicated to creative block building, where children can construct models of transportation, animals, sports figures, and city landscapes, fostering imagination and cooperation. The program meticulously covers various districts weekly, from Śródmieście to a vision of Warsaw's future, providing a comprehensive and engaging summer experience for young visitors.
