The exhibition 'From Sketch to Reality: Secrets of the Old Warsaw Gasworks' opens the doors to a forgotten world of Warsaw's industrial past. Located on a site usually closed to visitors, the former Warsaw Gasworks complex, particularly its selected buildings, is the central focus. The exhibition presents a dialogue between documentation and imagination, featuring photographs alongside artistic interpretations by Krzysztof Kawałowski, who uses various painting techniques, including his unique coffee-based watercolor, to depict these historical sites. Through the innovative use of lenticular printing, the exhibition merges photographic reality with artistic visions, creating a subtle interplay between the past captured by the lens and the fleeting memories revived on paper.
