Interact with Davina Michelle at Madame Tussauds Amsterdam
The Davina Michelle figure is seated at a piano, creating an inviting scene where visitors can take a seat beside her. This setup allows for an interactive experience, giving the impression of making music alongside the singer. The figure is located within the museum's dedicated music section, positioned near international icon Beyoncé and across from Dutch star Guus Meeuwis, blending seamlessly into a diverse collection of musical talent.
Behind the Creation of Davina Michelle's Wax Figure
The creation process for Davina Michelle's figure began in October of the previous year, when she traveled to the Tussauds Studios in London. During her visit, she posed for the sculptors and actively contributed to the design, offering input on the figure's pose, facial expression, and make-up. Davina also personally donated the striking black outfit worn by the wax figure, an ensemble she previously sported during an international performance at the Hymn digital theater in 2021.
Quinten Luykx, the general manager, expressed enthusiasm for the new addition, highlighting that Davina Michelle's dynamic figure and vibrant set perfectly fill a long-standing gap for a prominent Dutch female singer within the museum’s music department, which features both international and national artists.
