Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw Announces Brief Closure for ECSITE Conference
The Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw will temporarily close its main exhibitions and planetarium at the beginning of June. This brief interruption is due to the centre's role as host for a significant international event.
Visitors should note that the Exhibitions will be inaccessible from June 1 to June 6. Separately, the Planetarium will also be closed to the public from June 2 through June 5. The centre anticipates resuming normal operations shortly after these dates.
This temporary closure is necessary to accommodate the ECSITE conference, an international gathering that brings together approximately 1,000 science communicators from various countries. During this event, participants will engage in discussions about the future of science centres and exchange insights on creating more engaging and interactive experiences. The goal is to inspire curiosity and encourage independent experimentation among future visitors. More information about the conference can be found on the official ECSITE conference page.
The management of Copernicus Science Centre apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause to visitors and looks forward to welcoming guests back once the conference concludes.
