Curatorial context

«MICROCOSMOS, ECOTONOS, UNIVERSOS» is the result of the second artistic residencies program by Living Museum Madrid, featuring 'La Generación del 25'. The exhibition moves beyond stylistic commonalities to celebrate a diverse group of artists whose individual paths converged in a space of genuine curiosity and collaborative creation. Through their work, they explore personal universes, transitional zones (ecotones), and shared realities, emphasizing that diversity, rather than dividing, unites us. This collective expression, born from a shared struggle for belonging and understanding, stands as a powerful act of resistance against homogeneity and normative structures, offering a multiple, intimate, and collective perspective on the human condition. The exhibition is organized by Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Condeduque and Living Museum, with curatorial guidance from Marta Ramos-Yzquierdo and Óscar Ortiz de Zárate. It features the contributions of numerous artists including Liliana Ang, Concha Brito, R Ramona Bolopa, Fernando José Escribiña, Luis Gallardo, Piedad García-Murga, Malena Hidalgo, I Hsuan Liu (Claudia), José Manuel López, Carlos Enrique Molina, Gustavo Adrián Pannullo, Gabriel Pastor Guzmán, Miguel Ángel Ruiz, Pilar Sánchez Baidez, Irune Tanco, María Blanca Valcarce Quiroga, Manuel Vela, Y., and Zarco. Their collective vision forms the core of this exhibition, supported by various institutions and individuals who facilitated its realization.
