The exhibition 'Kazimierz Nowak. Praskie pożegnania' presents the works of Kazimierz Nowak, an architect, graphic artist, and illustrator with deep roots in Warsaw. Nowak, who graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Warsaw University of Technology, also pursued a career in academia and established his own architectural firm in Berlin. His illustrative work includes contributions to books such as 'Literacki melanż z Pragi' and 'Żydzi Warszawy'. A significant part of his artistic output involves illustrations for Jerzy Kasprzycki's column 'Warszawskie pożegnania', published in 'Życie Warszawy' between 1985 and 2001, many of which depict locations in Praga, Grochów, Wawer, and Targówek. This exhibition offers a selection of these drawings, providing a visual narrative of Warsaw's changing urban landscape through the artist's distinctive style.
