Curatorial context

Originally announced for Halloween, the Museo de Arte en Vidrio de Alcorcón (MAVA) planned a special event that included hands-on activities for children and an immersive visitor experience. The event featured 'TALLERES INFANTILES' (Children's Workshops) where participants aged 8 and above could create 'Imán terrorífico' (Terrifying Magnets) using recycled black glass and a diamond-point engraving technique. These workshops were scheduled in three sessions. Additionally, a 'VISITA TERRORIFICA' (Terrorific Visit) was organized, led by the theater company ISOSCELES, offering a guided tour through museum spaces specially decorated for the holiday. This visit was intended for all audiences, with children requiring adult supervision due to the horror theme, and was planned in five timed sessions. Both activities required prior reservation or ticket collection. However, the entire event was subsequently cancelled due to official mourning.

Admission and ticket notes

Activities required prior reservation by phone for the workshops or ticket collection at the museum's concierge for the terrorific visit. The event was announced as free of charge but has since been cancelled.
