This exhibition showcases the work of Spanish artist Ángel Orensanz, featuring large sculptural installations specifically created for the gardens of the Museum of Costume. The exhibition explores the dialogue between art and nature through the artist's monumental spheres and their interaction with natural elements.
Ángel Orensanz, a renowned Spanish sculptor with significant international projection, presents a series of installations created specifically for the gardens of the Museo del Traje. The exhibition, running from July 28 to October 30, features three large sculptural groups strategically placed within the trees, designed to engage in a dialogue between culture and nature. Orensanz, recognized for fusing art and life, developed a language that has earned him international acclaim, including a UN recognition in 2007 for his contributions to environmental awareness through art. His work's changing chromatic effects, influenced by natural elements, are a key aspect of this garden intervention. Complementing the outdoor installations, the didactic area of the museum displays two audiovisual pieces: 'Videoarte: Consecuencia: Ángel Orensanz en los jardines del Museo del Traje. CIPE' by Miguel Méndez, and 'Visual Art: Rides...' by Ángel Orensanz himself.
