Curatorial context

The Museo del Traje. Centro de Investigación del Patrimonio Etnológico presents an exhibition featuring the works of artists awarded and selected in the 2005 edition of the Popular Culture Photography Competition. This competition, revived in 2001 after a ten-year hiatus, has garnered significant interest from photography professionals. As an ethnographic heritage research center, the museum's collections largely pertain to Spanish popular cultures, making the organization of this contest a key part of its documentation and promotion activities. The exhibition displays 26 photo reports out of the 103 entries submitted, offering a living image of this ethnographic heritage.
