This exhibition showcases outstanding projects from students at leading fashion design schools, offering a glimpse into the future of fashion. It provides a platform for emerging designers who are poised to shape the industry.
The 'Mes del Diseño Emergente' (Emerging Design Month) exhibition presented a curated selection of the most significant projects developed by students from prominent fashion design institutions. This initiative served as a crucial window into the work of designers on the cusp of their professional careers, offering a preview of the talents that may soon grace the museum's collections.
The exhibition was spread across several areas, including the Sala Jardín, Area de acogida, and the Sala de exposiciones temporales on the first floor, featuring contributions from various design schools such as Centro Superior de Diseño y Moda de Madrid, IADE, IED Madrid, and EASD Maestre Mateo de Galicia, among others. Additionally, the event included a collaboration with INJUVE for an "Encuentro con jóvenes creadores" (Meeting with Young Creators) on June 27th, focusing on youth creation grants in design, featuring speakers like María de Prada, Irene Cano, and Sheila Pazos in the auditorium.
