The Museo del Traje, in collaboration with the NGO Mundo Cooperante, presents 'Mujeres que cambian el mundo' (Women Who Change the World). This exhibition features 24 unique costumes that were showcased at the World Fashion Week in Paris in 2014, designed by female designers from five continents. The collection serves to address the current situation of women and girls worldwide and underscores their vital importance in the development of their communities. The exhibition highlights that true equality between men and women is still lacking globally, and that women often face violations of their basic rights. Despite these challenges, women are portrayed as the driving force behind community progress, working daily to support their families, fighting for their rights and the rights of others, and combating harmful practices that endanger millions of women and girls.
