Science Oxford Centre Hosts Super Science Saturday for IF Oxford Festival
Science is taking over the region this autumn as the annual IF Oxford science and ideas Festival returns with a packed programme of events. Running from 17 October until 2 November, venues across the city will host over 100 eclectic activities exploring everything from cutting-edge medicine and artificial intelligence to the history of the Moon.
As part of the festival lineup, the Science Oxford Centre is gearing up for its signature Super Science Saturday. Families and curious minds can look forward to meeting active researchers, racing mini robots, and testing advanced materials used in star power generation alongside the UK Atomic Energy Authority.
What to Expect at Super Science Saturday
Visitors attending the special event at the Science Oxford Centre can experience a diverse array of interactive science shows and hands-on demonstrations. Dr Sarah Bearchell will present 'Amazing Air', a multi-sensory theatre show featuring experiments that bring the invisible atmosphere to life. Meanwhile, Brighton Science Festival founder Richard Robinson is set to present his thought-provoking stage show filled with science tricks and dynamic demonstrations.
Admission to Super Science Saturday activities also grants access to the destination's indoor Exploration Zone, outdoor Water Lab, and surrounding woodland trails.
