Album Rodzinny: SPOJRZENIA – Over 300 Private Family Photographs & Oral History Narratives

'Fotografia' traces the evolution of private photography, including technical changes, practices, and evolving perceptions. 'Codzienność' showcases everyday life, from birth to death, and documents social changes, work, leisure, urban and rural realities, and intergenerational relationships. Finally, 'Historia' illustrates how private lives intertwine with major historical events and breakthroughs, such as the January Uprising, Polish-Bolshevik War, World Wars, Stalinist era, 1980s strikes, and martial law, though personal experiences often take precedence over broader historical narratives. The organizers encourage viewers to actively seek their own answers regarding the status of private archival photography.
