Conceived and directed by Mika Johnson, the project features collaboration with artists from Poland, the USA, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine. The installation utilizes interactive elements, combining multimedia projections, sound design, and video works to recreate the anachronistic, metaphorical, and often surreal style characteristic of Schulz's writing. The project aims to make Schulz's imaginative worlds accessible, highlighting imagination as a sphere free from restrictions and dreams as a source of pleasure and comfort.
The presentation at the History Meeting House is complemented by a dedicated website featuring sound compositions, music, video fragments, and readings of Schulz's stories. This digital extension includes contributions from sound designers Eli Stine and Jackson Bierfeldt, musicians Wacław Zimpel and AWALI, video artist Jakub Krejči, and illustrations by Marta Lissowska.
